Meerkat (“we”, “us”) provides accessibility scanning for pull requests. This policy describes what we collect and why.

Information we collect

• Account data — name, email, and avatar from GitHub or GitLab OAuth.
• Repository metadata — repo names, PR titles/URLs, commit SHAs needed to run and display scans.
• Scan results — accessibility findings stored so you can review history and analytics.
• Billing data — handled by Polar (customer and subscription identifiers). We do not store full payment card numbers.

How we use information

• Authenticate you and secure your session
• Run scans on pull request webhooks and post comments/status checks
• Enforce plan limits and provide the product dashboard
• Improve reliability and prevent abuse

Data sharing

We use subprocessors for hosting, database, authentication, and billing (including Polar). We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Scan history retention depends on your plan. You may disconnect repositories or delete your account by contacting support.
